Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.

The past has been written and now it’s time we focus on the future and what has not been written. No time for fear, doubt, or even excuses, let’s make something happen.

Progress is a nice word. But change is its motivator. And change has its enemies.

The future is not some place we are going, but one we are creating. The paths to it are not found, but made and the activity of making them changes both the maker and the destination.

As I progress through college and enter my final week of school, I like to reflect on the change among my life and the future I am creating for myself. I understand and fully believe that paths to our future are not made, but found. As I progress I realize that my daily activities have changed both myself and where I am going, not only with my education, but my life in general as well.

Message of the week, think of the world you carry inside of you and remember the paths you take on your life journey are not found, but instead created by you. If you are facing a challenge right now, this week needs to be about digging deep into your well of strength and then using it to move things forward. You might be ready for big leaps, or you might need to start with baby steps; whatever the size, just be sure you move!

We are all visitors—even when we are home. That is, our time in any relationship or place is ultimately limited. We are passing through: Nobody stays forever. How might we act if we thought of ourselves as guests in the lives of friends and family? We might also think of ourselves as uninvited, but not unwelcome, guests of the planet. And I think the rules for being good guests of the planet are just the same: Ask little, accept what is offered, and give thanks.

I have enjoyed many adventures in the past month: met some new friends, connected with old friends, and even passed through limited friendships and relationships – after all, nobody stays forever.

I'll keep this extra short, the message of the week is to consider the above Stone's last line as potential goals for this week: "Ask little, accept what is offered, and give thanks."
