Why spend the time trying to erase history when you can flip the pencil and make something for the whole world to see?

Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.

The past has been written and now it’s time we focus on the future and what has not been written. No time for fear, doubt, or even excuses, let’s make something happen.

Message of the week, make something happen!

Progress is a nice word. But change is its motivator. And change has its enemies.

The future is not some place we are going, but one we are creating. The paths to it are not found, but made and the activity of making them changes both the maker and the destination.

As I progress through college and enter my final week of school, I like to reflect on the change among my life and the future I am creating for myself. I understand and fully believe that paths to our future are not made, but found. As I progress I realize that my daily activities have changed both myself and where I am going, not only with my education, but my life in general as well.

Message of the week, think of the world you carry inside of you and remember the paths you take on your life journey are not found, but instead created by you. If you are facing a challenge right now, this week needs to be about digging deep into your well of strength and then using it to move things forward. You might be ready for big leaps, or you might need to start with baby steps; whatever the size, just be sure you move!

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.

We are all visitors—even when we are home. That is, our time in any relationship or place is ultimately limited. We are passing through: Nobody stays forever. How might we act if we thought of ourselves as guests in the lives of friends and family? We might also think of ourselves as uninvited, but not unwelcome, guests of the planet. And I think the rules for being good guests of the planet are just the same: Ask little, accept what is offered, and give thanks.

I have enjoyed many adventures in the past month: met some new friends, connected with old friends, and even passed through limited friendships and relationships – after all, nobody stays forever.

I'll keep this extra short, the message of the week is to consider the above Stone's last line as potential goals for this week: "Ask little, accept what is offered, and give thanks."

Success is not about perfection: but, it is about commitment and life-long learning. If you stray from the path, you get to choose to come back to it. You get to discover what got in the way, who you are, and what's important to you; and, best of all, you get to feel the fulfillment that comes from creating your life based on your highest values.

What lessons will we learn this week? I took my own advice from last week and welcomed the California experience in to my life with open arms, but it was not all play, I had to work with a team I had never met before, and the experience was like no other, it was awesome.

There were times I took a few deep breaths and reminded myself that I am a student in life, in work, in school, in each relationship I have - in every aspect of my life. The idea allowed me to approach the tasks, project, and people differently.

Why not try it and see? What have you got to learn?

Message of the week, live your own lessons and you will understand.

MOXIE: It's a street-smart spirit that's as old as recorded history, and as new as the riding sun. David had it; Goliath didn't. It's that intangible tangible. You don't learn it in school and you can't get it from a book. It can jump oceans and move mountains. It says, “Make your life what it can be. Take your life wherever it can go."

As I begin to pack my bags for California, I am sure to not forget my moxie, for I realize this trip will be an experience like no other. I anticipate the experience to be an opportunity to network, learn, and of course, enjoy myself while meeting Marketing Students from across the Nation. I believe this experience, like others, will shape a part of me and I can benefit from the opportunity if I choose to.

Message of the week, take your personal experience and welcome it with open arms. We can only learn from an experience, that’s why we must enjoy it.

We can pay our rent to society in any shape or size, but we must remember to pay our rent.

Helping others, being kind, generous, or just sharing a smile with someone in need probably depends on what hat we’re wearing or what mood we’re sporting on that specific day, but if you stay present and make eye contact with those around you, it is possible you will identify someone who needs a quick favor, a kind word, or just a warm smile.

Message of the week; choose to interact with each person you encounter in a positive way, for their sake and yours!

As we start, continue, or finish a task; let’s remember that we’re all working towards something on our individual adventures. That something could be anything and is not limited to a dream, a goal, or something out of reach. It could very well be within reach and require just a little extra sweat and persistence.

Message of the week, keep reaching!
